*EPILEPSY WARNING!* < true.
This demoscene rooted animation by the russian guys of Quite may cause eye cancer, hyperventilation, epilepsy or all at once. Nice sync excercises to a soundtrack by Brothomstates. So far there’s no realtime version available yet.
Furthermore there’s some kind of followup to their award-winning 4k intro CDAK (as mentioned earlier) on vimeo too. Yet another mesmerizing drone trip. Music by Brothomstates as well.

Here are my top 10 picks for june 2011 at Resident Advisor. Apart from already mentioned Objekt, Samuli Kemppis EP on M_REC is giving me creeps at the moment. Further topnotch tracks by Instra:Mental, Surgeon, Conforce and some free tunes by Max Cavalera, Siggha, Boddika…
The latest demo by Smash & Destop using their wonderful particle engine with an awesome soundtrack by Stereo Wildlife. Love the fluid part (mind you, it’s a executable realtime pc demo – download here). There’s also a stereo 3d version available via pouet.net.

Welcome to the microcosm. Impressive and spine chilling animation by Polynoid.tv. Brilliant use of slow motion accompanied by a great sound design (well, a little bit Matrix-stereotypish but nevertheless…)
Singularity is a very well made blend of video scenes and abstract 3D animation. It’s on the experimental side of things with a fitting soundtrack by kattoo.de. If you like demoscene stuff or videos like Gantz Graf, this one’s for you!

Awesome video by Radiolab with a different point of view about symmetry. Hard to sum up, really.
This striking Radiolab video made by Everynone was inspired by Radiolab’s Desperately Seeking Symmetry episode. Filmmakers Will Hoffman, Daniel Mercadante, and Julius Metoyer III play with our yearning for balance, and reveal how beautiful imperfect matches can be.
