Welcome to the brandnew & improved version of ronnypries.de! It was way about time to get it on the road after quite many evenings of work, lots of coffee, chocolate, beers and wasted lines of code. Yes, some corners of the basement need to be tidied up a bit but imho it should be much easier for you to find the stuff you’re looking for (if google didn’t do that for you already).

It wouldn’t have been possible without the neverending finickiness of Mr. T@work, the lovely WordPress community whose software runs this site, the makers of all those plugin’s i’m abusing here, Elektrolux for the perfect working soundtrack and last not least my rather quiet readers (hey, that’s YOU!) for coming back regularly!

So what changed besides the theme?

The overall navigation should be much easier now. The amount of categories was shortened and every post has been re-tagged which especially makes sense in the gear category. The related posts make much more sense now, the search function is back and all RSS feeds now go through Feedburner for easier handling. Last not least i revised the social bookmarking feature (those huge, yellow SHARE ME! letters below every post next to the comment function) for easier handling. If you’re missing the service of your choice, let me know.

As said, some corners still need a bit of house keeping but all in all i’m very satisfied with the result. Now go and use it!
